With decades of practice in photography and photojournalism, I am now completely focused on the career that is my calling.
As photographer for Sacramento's Mayor Johnson, I've had the responsibility of documenting many of his activities. Opportunities to photograph local and national political figures and celebrities are frequent. In recent months, I've had the privilege of photographing Mayor Johnson with former basketball greats Dave Bing, Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson; elected officials including Governor Jerry Brown, CA Senate Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg and US Vice President Joe Biden; entertainment figures Carlos Santana, Ben Vereen, the Beach Boys, and John Legend and almost too many other luminaries of various fields to list.
Events of all descriptions have become my specialties. My architectural photography continues, as I am often hired to document properties for advertising and marketing purposes. My passion for music also keeps me involved in photographing performers around northern California.
My work has been published in magazines, newspapers, annual reports and event programs as well as websites and social media sites. In 2010, my first video collaboration was shown in the Sacramento International Film and Music Festival.
